Police investigators tags evidence at the scene of yesterday's shooting in Radnor Township. Police said they received a report of a prowler at around 3:15 a.m. and that the man shot at them when they attempted to question him. He also later fired on Lower Merion Township police after they arrived as backup, police said. The gunman fired about 10 shots at police, but no officers were hit, according to reports.
Villanova University's south campus was on lockdown most of Wednesday morning as police searched the grounds for a gunman who opened fire on three Radnor officers in nearby Bryn Mawr.
The gunman remains at large despite an intensive manhunt that involved helicopters and SWAT teams.
